The Sunshine spectrometer is a budget spectrometer built according to the classical symmetric Czerny-Turner scheme (based on a diffraction grating), which is designed for a variety of spectroscopic tasks. A highly sensitive CCD matrix from Hamamtsu is used as a radiation detector in the spectrometer.
